The case challenge, open to all undergraduate students in Malaysia, aims to discover and nurture the next generation of leaders in developing and presenting ideas on how government can support innovation to promote growth and development.
Out of numerous registrants, 5 teams were selected for the finals and mentored by Frost & Sullivan consultants; Team Impulse from Multimedia University (MMU), The Absolute Thinkers from University Malaya, The Possibiliser from Sunway University, and 2 teams from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Group 4 and RDF.

The teams were judged based on their logical reasoning & flow, innovativeness of the proposed solution, actionability of the proposed solution, and completeness of the submission. After careful deliberation, Chong Ker Pi, Tan She Quan, and Tan Chuan You of Team Impulse from MMU, Melaka emerged victorious, receiving a cash prize of RM3,000. Sharifah Najah Aqilah Syed Mohd Amudin, Nor Liyana Mohd Anuar, and Julianna Roslan of Group 4 from IIUM took home the second prize of RM1,000.
All finalists were offered internship opportunities at Frost & Sullivan while 3 outstanding presenters (Yeoh Yun Wei of The Possibiliser from Sunway University, Nor Liyana Mohd Anuar of Group 4 from IIUM and Chong Ker Pi of Impulse from MMU) were also offered job placements at Frost & Sullivan's Global Innovation Center in Iskandar which serves Frost & Sullivan's global operations and offices
