Are you someone who dreams of studying abroad? Are you aching for an international and prestigious education but are worried about the cost?
Well, Monash University Malaysia might be the institution for you! Opened in 1998, Monash University Malaysia is the first foreign university to be established in Malaysia. The institution is the Malaysian branch of Monash University, one of Australia's leading and high-ranked universities. They are ranked #64 out of more than 1500 universities listed in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2021.
They offer a diverse option of programmes ranging from the fields of Arts & Social Sciences, Business, Engineering, Information Technology, Medicine & Health Sciences, Pharmacy and Science. These programmes are presented in the form of undergraduate and postgraduate, many of which have been highly ranked.
Their annual intake period is usually in February, July or October but it may differ depending on the program so have an idea of what you want to study and exactly when you want to begin your education.
It should also be noted that the tuition fees at Monash University Malaysia can vary depending on the program and can be pricey as a prestigious education. For example, in their department of Pharmacy and Pharmacology studies (which was ranked #2 in the world by The QS World University Rankings by Subject 2021), a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) degree costs annually RM53,025 for Malaysian students and RM59,996 for international students. While in their Civil and Structural Engineering program (that is ranked #15 by The QS World University Rankings by Subject 2021), a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Honours) costs RM48,101 for Malaysian students and RM54,915 for international students.
