Medicine is one of the most popular courses, not just in Malaysia but globally. It is a highly respected profession and is deemed as a noble job considering the challenges that come with it.
As much as many want to pursue medicine, the tuition fee is extremely costly. The estimated tuition fee per year for a medicine course in Malaysia can go up to RM130,000. No doubt, there is a cheaper option to pursue medicine which is through matriculation programme. But chances are that you might not get into medicine even with a CGPA of 4.0. Students are often given other biology related courses like marine biology.

The IMU- need scholarship is for students who demonstrate good academic achievement but are facing financial difficulties. It is offered for Malaysian citizens only. To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must be applying for their first degree programme and have a household income of B40 or M40 category only.
