Andrew Lim, Ketua Portfolio ACCA Maritim Asia Tenggara, menyampaikan Anugerah Platinum ACCA kepada Josephine Tan, Pengarah Kampus Taylor’s College.
Taylor’s College telah diiktiraf sebagai ACCA Platinum Approved Learning Partner, yang merupakan pengiktirafan tertinggi oleh Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Global. Pencapaian ini bukan sahaja mengukuhkan reputasi Taylor’s sebagai institusi yang menawarkan program ACCA bertaraf dunia, tetapi juga menyerlahkan komitmen mereka dalam melahirkan pemimpin masa depan dalam bidang perakaunan.
Dengan status Platinum ini, pelajar Taylor’s College dapat menikmati akses eksklusif kepada sumber pembangunan profesional dan rangkaian global ACCA. Keistimewaan ini dapat membantu meningkatkan prospek kerjaya mereka dan melengkapkan diri mereka dengan kemahiran dan pengetahuan industri yang penting.
Pengiktirafan ini juga mencerminkan komitmen Taylor’s College dalam merangka program yang selaras dengan standard industri dan keperluan profesional yang sentiasa berkembang, disokong oleh pandangan pakar daripada Panel Penasihat Industri mereka.
Bagi meraikan kejayaan ini, Taylor’s College menandatangani Memorandum Persefahaman (MoU) dengan ACCA dan memperkenalkan laluan dwi-aungerah untuk pelajar Diploma Perniagaan serta inisiatif baharu seperti Pendidikan untuk Pembangunan Lestari (ESD) bagi meningkatkan kebolehpasaran graduan.
Pelajar Taylor’s College mempunyai rekod pencapaian yang cemerlang dalam peperiksaan ACCA di peringkat kebangsaan dan global. Pada tahun 2020, seorang pelajar telah memenangi tempat pertama dalam Foundations in Audit, memperoleh markah tertinggi di Malaysia dan ketiga di seluruh dunia. Pada tahun 2021, kejayaan ini diulangi dengan markah tertinggi di Malaysia dan dunia untuk subjek yang sama. Pada tahun 2022, pelajar Taylor’s mencapai markah tertinggi di Malaysia untuk Audit and Assurance dan Maintaining Financial Records, dengan kedudukan kelima dan kedua dalam peringkat global. Pada tahun 2023, Taylor’s College mencatatkan markah tertinggi di Malaysia dan kedua dalam dunia untuk Recording Financial Transactions. Tahun ini, tradisi kecemerlangan ini diteruskan dengan markah tertinggi di Malaysia dan kedua dalam dunia bagi Management Information.
Pelajar Taylor’s juga cemerlang dalam pertandingan di peringkat ASEAN. Pada tahun 2022, mereka telah memenangi ASEAN Accounting Competency Challenge dan meraih tempat ketiga dalam 2024 Institute of Management Accountants AsiaPac Student Case Competition.
