The KY’s Got Talent event was organized with the main purpose of showcasing students’ otherwise hidden talents while providing a platform for them to hone their creativity and boost their confidence. The competition was held over two rounds: the preliminary round, where contestants presented their talents and abilities, followed by the final round during the Malam Kebudayaan event, where the selected finalists performed for the winner’s title.
The preliminary round was held on Tuesday night, and from there, five finalists were chosen to perform on the night of Malam Kebudayaan. The performances included a diverse array of talents. Wan Alyssa impressed the audience with her guitar skills, superb vocals, and her original song titled “Heaven Knows.”
Kartik Raj showcased a mesmerizing Bharatanatyam dance performance, adding a unique cultural touch to the evening. Alyssa Wong captivated the audience with an instrumental performance, while Putera delivered another melodic serenade, rounding off the impressive performances of the evening. Ashton also delivered a memorable performance, leaving a lasting impression.
The winners of the event were announced as follows: Putera claimed first place, Wan Alyssa secured second, and Kartik Raj took third place. Both Alyssa Wong and Ashton were awarded equal fourth place for their outstanding contributions.
To conclude, the KY's Got Talent event was an incredible success, offering students a vibrant platform to display their diverse talents and passions. From captivating musical performances to mesmerizing dance routines, the night was filled with excitement, creativity, and an undeniable sense of community. The energy and enthusiasm of the participants truly made the event unforgettable, leaving everyone eagerly anticipating the next edition of this spectacular showcase.
