INTEC Education College has produced its first batch of Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) graduates with the aid of Centre of Professional Accountancy UiTM (IPAC Education), and with an astounding success rate.

Syarah Syahirah Sugianto is the graduate that stole the spotlight by having a perfect score (100%) in Maintaining Finanacial Records. She is the first person in Malaysia and the world to achieve such score in this subject. Additionally, she obtained the highest score in the world for Accounting in Business.

Last but not least, the event also recognised Mohammed Shafiq Mohammed Yunus who obtained 96 percent for Maintaining Cost and Finance, the highest in the world.
In an exclusive interview with Afterschool.my, Associate Professor Mahfudzah Mohamed, Director of IPAC Education, said that Malaysia is in need of more professional accountants, especially those with Bumiputera status. The organisation is aiming to divert students straight into the accounting world by exposing them to exams with necessary relevance and practicality for the world of business and accountancy.
UiTM created the Centre of Professional Accountancy UiTM (IPAC Education) on March 25, 2015 as a private entity under UiTM Holdings. This centre aims to be the pioneer and leader in providing professional accounting programmes specifically for the Bumiputeras. Initially, this centre is located at INTEC, Section 17, Shah Alam. IPAC Education Opening Ceremony was officiated by the Minister of Higher Education, Dato Seri Idris Jusoh on June 16, 2015.
